In advance of the new Job Support Scheme going live on 1 November 2020, HMRC has published its initial guidance on claiming the Job Retention Bonus in respect of those employees whose jobs were kept open through furlough leave, despite the presence of COVID-19 and/or the need to prevent or limit its transmission.
